Welcome to the Somerset Emotional Wellbeing (SEW) podcast! In this episode, Demystifying the Menopause, our host Dr. Andrew Tresidder is joined by Dr. Kathryn Patrick from Yeovil District Hospital to discuss the menopause in detail.

During the conversation, they discuss how the menopause can affect physical and mental health, what the different treatment options are and how you can help to alleviate some of the symptoms and effects of the menopause with some simple lifestyle changes.

The SEW podcast is a free weekly show hosted by Dr. Andrew Tresidder and Dr. Peter Bagshaw. In each episode, the doctors discuss a different topic related to mental and emotional wellbeing and often invite expert guests to join them in conversation. British Menopause Society – The British Menopause Society (BMS), established in 1989, educates, informs and guides Healthcare professionals on menopause and all aspects of post reproductive health.
