Welcome to the Somerset Emotional Wellbeing (SEW) podcast!

In this episode, Spotlight on Seasonal Affective Disorder, our hosts Dr. Andrew Tresidder and Dr. Peter Bagshaw discuss Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) in detail. During the conversation, they discuss what SAD is, what you can do to manage the condition through the winter months and how you can get more help with SAD.

The SEW podcast is a free weekly show hosted by Dr. Andrew TresidderDr. Peter Bagshaw and Dr. Sarah Coope. In each episode, the doctors discuss a different topic related to mental and emotional wellbeing and often invite expert guests to join them in conversation. NHS - Seasonal Affective Disorder – Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that comes and goes in a seasonal pattern. SAD is sometimes known as "winter depression" because the symptoms are usually more apparent and more severe during the winter. Some people with SAD may have symptoms during the summer and feel better during the winter.
