Show Notes

Welcome to the Somerset Emotional Wellbeing (SEW) podcast!

In this special episode, Supporting the Supporters LIVE, our hosts Dr. Andrew Tresidder and Dr. Peter Bagshaw are joined by psychologist Dr. Lorna Stewart from Somerset NHS Foundation Trust in a live discussion at the Somerset Virtual Wellbeing Conference 2021 on the SEW Colleague Support Line.

This conversation is also available as a video (which helps with the slides that are referred to); please visit this YouTube link if you’d prefer to engage visually and see the doctors in action! There are also many other videos from the Conference available for you to watch free here.

During the conversation, they discuss the origins of the Colleague Support Line, how you can get in touch and what you can expect if you do and give some anonymous testimonies from people who have used the service.

The SEW podcast is a free weekly show hosted by Dr. Andrew Tresidder and Dr. Peter Bagshaw. In each episode, the doctors discuss a different topic related to mental and emotional wellbeing and often invite expert guests to join them in conversation. The show is aimed at the people of Somerset and beyond; the advice and guidance provided should apply to anybody who needs it, whenever they need it.

All episodes of SEW are now available to listen to free through Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Deezer, Google Podcasts, Amazon Podcasts, Somerset Emotional Wellbeing or wherever you get your podcasts!
